In line with the eligibility for admission into any degree programme in the Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences (Anatomy, Biochemistry, Pharmacology or Physiology), prospective candidates for Anatomy programme are expected to satisfy the following requirements:
- Obtain five (5) credit passes at SSCE (or equivalent) in relevant subjects (English Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology) at not more than two (2) sittings
- Obtain an aggregate score of not less than 200 in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Post-UTME in the following subjects: English Language, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
DIRECT ENTRY ADMISSION:
The following categories of candidates shall be considered for admission into 200 level class of the degree programme, provided they also meet the requirements stipulated in (1) above.
- Pass in general certificate of education or at advanced level in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (or Zoology) in addition to (1) above.
- Graduates of first degree in related sciences or its equivalent in addition to (1) one above (remedial result is not accepted). Such graduates with CGPA of 3.5 and above shall be deemed to be qualified.
